AES in Radiohuset at
the Royal Danish Academy of Music

Dear AES members

Join us for a tour of the old DR Radiohuset, which now houses the Royal Danish Academy of Music. We will see the concert halls and studio facilities, including the old legendary Studio 3 with new Rupert Neve 5088 mixing console. The tour will end in New Hall with a demonstration of the 48 channel Dynaudio/DAD Ambisonics playback system.

Experience the acoustic spaces and learn about the uses of music technology in Radiohuset “then and now”.

Our guides will be Jesper Andersen, who is head of the Tonmeister Program at RDAM and Lars Palsig, who is one of the most experienced music engineers from the Danish Broadcast. Lars worked at Radiohuset since 1974 and has recorded great artists such as Toots Thielemans, David Sandborn, Django Bates, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Tory Amos, Dizzy Gillespie and almost every notable Danish jazz musician in the last 40 years.
