Dear AES members
It is our pleasure to host Christopher J. Struck, the CEO and Chief Scientist for CJS Labs, a consulting firm in San Francisco specializing in electroacoustics for product design and testing. He will share his experiences and expertise an present techniques combining signal processing and appropriate test methods to obtain the free field response of a electroacoustical system without having a huge anechoic chamber.
Christopher looks forward to being back in Denmark after some years, having worked for Brüel & Kjær (in Nærum!), GN Resound, and Tymphany, as well as Dolby Laboratories. He is a Fellow and former Governor of the AES, and is active in IEC, ISO, IEEE, and AES standards. He is a Fellow and Past Standards Director of the Acoustical Society of America and is the author of numerous AES papers. Christopher is a pioneer in the field of Electroacoustical Measurements. We will meet at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) on June 2nd 2025 at 19:00 to 21:00. Come join us and hear the story about the development of Simulated Free Field Measurements and meet Christopher Struck in person.
