AES Show Vegas 2021 Early Bird Deadline Extended, Safety Guidelines Shared

August 23, 2021

To give our community more time to decide whether to travel this fall, AES has extended the AES Show Vegas 2021 in-person audio engineering event’s Early Bird deadline. Early Bird discounted registration rates are now available through Tuesday, August 31.

“We understand and appreciate the hesitation regarding a return to in-person events,” said AES Executive Director Colleen Harper. “We are doing everything possible to keep you safe – the health and safety of our attendees are our #1 priority.”

AES Show Vegas, to be collocated with the host NAB Show 2021, October 11-13, offers attendees the opportunity to engage, network and learn with colleagues, friends and customers. AES is working with NAB to ensure a safe environment for attendees of both events. Highlights of the safety measure include:

  • Face Coverings: AES and NAB will keep up-to-date with CDC and Clark County, NV guidelines. However, both shows will be mandating masks while attending the in-person event in Las Vegas.
  • Clean Hands: Sanitizer stations will be available at almost every turn, and we will provide touchless experiences (such as registration) as much as possible.
  • Physical Distancing: Meeting rooms will be set at 75% capacity to allow for comfortable distance between participants.

“There is even more happening behind the scenes to keep you safe,” adds Harper. “We won’t hesitate to make changes on the fly while we’re onsite in the interest of public health and safety. We are committed to making your return to in-person events enjoyable and stress-free.”

In addition to the audio exhibits throughout AES & NAB, AES Show Vegas will include the Immersive Experience Center, Academy Stage Sessions and Tech Program with three rooms of workshops, keynotes and Technical Sessions.

Registration for the full AES Show Vegas 2021 slate of sessions and events is open with Early Bird rates at, alongside registration for the AES Fall Online 2021 Audio Engineering Convention streamcast and on demand Technical Program, with bundled registration available at a discount for registrants of both events.

AES Show Vegas exhibition attendees must register separately through for the free exhibits roaming badge which gives access to both the AES and NAB manufacturer show floors. Exhibits registration details can be found at the link above.
